The Human Contract is a psychological thrill ride about a career driven advertising executive whose life begins to change when he meets a free spirited woman. Julian Wright (Jason Clarke) is on the verge of a monumental event in his career. He is the face of an up and coming advertising firm, about to embark on a corporate merger worth billions of dollars. The parent company upholds a highly conservative standard, which makes Julian, and his seemingly moralist, straight laced life an ideal candidate to represent both sides. But when he meets the enchanting Michael, (Paz Vega) he is taken with her indifference to social norms and unbridled passion. The two of them have an affair, with Michael bringing out a dark side of Julian, and as time passes, he begins to reveal just how dark and deeply rooted lie some of the secrets in his life. Risking everything in his professional life, Julian must reconcile his own demons and close the box of secrets that Michael has helped to open. Also staring Ted Danson and writer/director Jada Pinkett, The Human Contract is a break from the norm, an intriguing look at what often lies beneath a shiny exterior.moreless
