The Hunt is a 2006 American made horror/thriller film that starts innocently enough with a father and stepson making a movie about their deer-hunting experiences. Jack Hamberg (Joe Michael Burke) and Clint (Mitchell Burns), his eight-year-old stepson, are determined to make a deer-hunting movie with the help of a former news camera operator, Atticus Monroe (Robert Rusler). After filming most of the movie, the only needed scene is that of an actual kill, but the area they are hunting does not look promising. Deciding that they need to change their site, they grudgingly decide that the nearby private property might offer a greater chance to finish their movie quickly. While searching for deer, they discover other, more frightening, things about the property owner and now the real hunt is underway. The three must use all of their resourcefulness to find a way to make it out alive once they become the hunted.
