The Incredible Hulk Returns is the 1988 comeback movie for Marvel Comics superhero the Hulk. Ever since being caught in the blast of a gamma bomb, Dr. David Bruce Banner (Bill Bixby) has been involuntarily transforming into the raging, green, gigantic Hulk (Lou Ferrigno). As this TV movie begins, we find Dr. Banner on the verge of completing a Gamma Transponder to reverse the effects of the radiation. However, the Hulk isn't the only superhero in town. Along comes Donald Blake (Steve Levitt), a former student of Dr. Banner, with the mystic hammer of the Viking god Thor and a far-fetched story about summoning the ancient god. To prove his tale, Blake calls on Thor (Eric Allan Kramer) to appear. Thor unwittingly angers Dr. Banner which triggers a transformation. The resulting battle damages the lab and the transponder. The newspaper headlines draw the attention of a crime organization determined to steal the transponder. It's up to the Hulk and Thor to save the day.moreless
