The International is an action-packed mystery that released in 2009 about Manhattan Assistant District Attorney, Eleanor Whitman (Naomi Watts) and Interpol Agent, Louis Salinger (Clive Owen), who come to uncover several illegal money activities that a major bank is conducting. The two find themselves being chased across the world and uncover more proof of how dirty the government is, money laundering and arms trading. Whitman and Salinger soon begin to realize that the more they uncover, the more at risk they become and that the bank will stop at nothing to make sure they tell no one their secrets. Fleeing for their safety and trying to fight for justice against one of the most powerful banks in the world, they find themselves not sure who to trust and fearing they might not make it out of the situation alive. Whitman and Salinger soon come to realize that the bank will even murder to make sure the bank is able to continue their present stance in financing war and terror and that finding somebody to help them uncover the truth is harder than they imagined.moreless
