The Invisible Life of Thomas Lynch is a 2009 dark comedy film written, directed by and starring cult brother and sister team, The Terror Twins, James Merendino and Lisa Hammer. Pitched as a satirical representation of the dispassion of the media in the modern-day, the film follows the life of lonely, small time hit man, Thomas Lynch (Steve Stanulis) as he tortures and murders a number of innocent victims across America. The acts of violence in the film are gory, brutal and include the torture of women. The film is shot in the style of a documentary and focuses on how the camera crew are apparently unmoved by the terror they witness. They do nothing to halt Lynch's reign of terror, instead going all out to get the best shot at any cost. The Invisible Life of Thomas Lynch was showcased at the 2009 CMJ Film Festival in New York City, winning the award for 'Best Feature Film'.
