The Invisible Man: Special Edition is a horror film directed by James Whale. This film is about a scientist named Jack Griffin (Claude Rains) who becomes the Invisible Man. He was experimenting with certain chemicals during a drug experiment hoping to invent a drug that could help the world and the unthinkable happened. Griffin becomes invisible and must hide out. With his face completely bandaged and in disguise, he hides out in the local inn. He is unsure about who he can confide in about this nightmare but eventually confides in his friends Dr. Kemp (William Harrigan) and Flora (Gloria Stuart). But by that time, it is too late. He is slowly becoming a murdering monster. The drug has driven him insane, turning him into a murderous serial killer. He haunts the town and begins his killing spree. The only way to end this nightmare is to kill this Invisible Man.
