The Jolly Boys Last Stand is a 2000 British drama written and directed by Christopher Payne. The Jolly Boys are a group of hard-drinking twenty-somethings bachelors led by Anthony "Spider" Dale (Andy Serkis) who cling onto their fading youths by partying at every opportunity. The group is suddenly thrown into disarray when Spider has the epiphany that a professional job and a family might offer more than drinking with his buddies. The film is presented in the format of a documentary film, a wedding video to document Sipder fall from grace into respectability. The man behind the camera Desmond 'Des' Dixon (Milo Twomey) doesn't want Spider to leave the group and grow up. He plots some elaborate schemes to derail the wedding, until he himself begins to realize that there is more to life than drinking beer and chasing girls. Sacha Baron Cohen, Rebecca Craig, and Jo Martin also star in the film.
