Movie Summary

Director:

Released:
2002
Rating:
R
The Killer Next Door is about one turbulent day in the life of Ronnie Schwann (Adam Scott), a "slow" adult who works at Hope House, a home for the mentally ill. While working there, Ronnie develops an interest in a beautiful, young resident of the home, Sarah (Fini Goodman). On one of his days off, Ronnie discovers Sarah wandering off the grounds of Hope House through his neighborhood. Instead of following procedure and bringing her back to the home, Ronnie chooses to bring Sarah to his bedroom hoping to seduce her. However, his plans go awry when his violent and impulsive brother Keith (Mark Pelligrino) returns home from jail. Keith has brought his junkie friends and his girlfriend, Kelly (Aimee Graham), with him to the house to celebrate. The film follows Ronnie as he navigates this delicate situation. The Killer Next Door is an edgy indie thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
