The Killing Jar is the 1997 horror mystery from director Evan Crooke and writer Mark Mullin (Extreme Ops, Something Beneath). Michael Sanford (Bret Cullen, Ghost Rider, Apollo 13, Falcon Crest, The Runaways) and his spouse relocate to his boyhood home so that he may acquire the family operation. Suddenly, a string of horrific killings of neighborhood children break out to the shock and dismay of the entire community. At the same time, Michael begins a slow and gradual descent into madness upon seemingly bearing witness to one of the grisly slayings, which he promptly reports to the authorities. Is he the murderer, or is it something of his past?
