The Ladies Man is a 2004 comedy about Leon Phelps (Tim Meadows), the host of a late-night radio show, who offers his extensive relationship advice to listeners. The radio show is always on the edge of appropriateness, after crossing the line one time too many, Leon is fired. His dedicated producer, Julie Simmons (Karyn Parsons) also leaves the station. They don't have a new gig, but are sure with a some hard work on their part, an opportunity will turn up. While Julie is looking for a new broadcast opportunity, Leon is looking for a lover that will support him. Neither Leon nor Julie are making much progress when Leon becomes the target of a group of husbands led by Lance DeLune (Will Ferrell). The mob of husbands are out for revenge against Leon because he's had affairs with their wives. Leon's one chance at happiness comes in a letter from a wealthy former lover who wants support Leon. The only problem is the letter is signed by Sweet Thing, and Leon has no idea who she is, since he calls all the ladies Sweet Thing.moreless
