The Land Before Time XII: The Great Day of the Flyers is a 2006 animated family adventure film directed by Charles Grosvenor. The movie opens with all the dinosaurs in the Great Valley preparing for The Day of the Flyers, an important event held each year for young flyers. This event is how young flyers prove they are old enough to fly with adult flyers. To be successful, the young flyers must perform a certain task. While Littlefoot (Nick Price), Cera (Anndi McAfee), Spike (Rob Paulsen) and Ducky (Aria Noelle Curzon) are excited to watch the event, one of their friends, Petrie (Jeff Bennett), is not excited. Petrie, who is nervous by nature, is expected to fly with his siblings in the event, and the pressure is getting to him. His dinosaur friends try to reassure him, but it does not help. Just when Petrie begins to give up on himself, he meets a new dinosaur, Guido (Rob Paulson), who provides him with very relevant advice. Will Petrie attempt to fly with his siblings, or will he simply give up on himself?moreless
