The Last Exorcism is an American 2010 horror mockumentary film starring Iris Bahr, Patrick Fabian and Louis Herthum. After performing exorcisms for years and hearing of a recent case resulting in a dead child, Reverend Cotton Marcus (Fabian) decides to participate in a documentary that will expose its fraud once and for all. He chooses to perform a random last exorcism of a "possessed" farm girl named Nell (Ashley Bell) with the intent of tricking the family into thinking it's real. But as the stage is set to disprove the concept, this case leads the film crew and Marcus into a darker and darker world of horrifying occurrences and evil action. Creepy thrills are around every corner and people aren't always who they seem. This isn't you parents' version of an exorcism, this is a bit more real and will get creepier than pea soup, we promise. The film was directed by Daniel Stamm and produced by Eli Roth and others.moreless
