The Last Horror Film is a 1982 cult classic horror film directed by David Winters. Vinny Durand (Joe Spinell) is a taxi driver in New York City who still lives with his mother (Filomena Spagnuolo). He is fascinated by actress Jenna Bates (Caroline Munro), known as "the queen of horror films," and has delusions about becoming a movie director. Vinny writes a movie script and travels to the Cannes Film Festival in France to meet Jenna and cast her in his movie. Jenny's ex-husband, Bret Bates (Glenn Jacobson), and the producer of her current film, Alan Cunningham (Judd Hamilton), do not let Vinny get anywhere near Jenna when he tries to see her, and his phone calls go unanswered. Enraged at this treatment, Vinny's obsession with Jenna turns into pure madness. As Vinny forges a bloody trail of murder and carnage to get his revenge, Jenna must fight to survive her own real-life horror movie.
