The Last Horror Movie

Movie Summary

Director:
Julian Richards
Released:
2004
Rating:
R
The Last Horror Movie is the 2003 independent horror thriller from writer-director Julian Richards (Darklands, Silent Cry, Messiah, Summer Scars). Max (Kevin Howarth) is a serial killer out to teach the world a lesson. He's got his heart set on forcing people to come to terms with an alternate side of human nature, or, at least, his nature. By utilizing a home video camera and hiring an assistant (Mark Stevenson), Max will take his viewers on a strangely unique and artistic ride. Max escorts his viewers through his inimitable perversions, as well as many of his everyday trivialities. In addition to viewing his maulings, we meet his family, watch him work on the side as a wedding videographer, and delve into his mind via his disturbing, though somewhat valid, video diary entries. Kevin Howarth gives off an icy charm as the smug psychopath Max in Julian Richards' popular video-diary nasty.
