The Last Musketeer, originally titled Il Visconti di Bragelonne, is a 1954 movie. It is a historical fantasy drama directed by acclaimed director Fernando Cerchio and is based on the novel, The Last Cavalier by the famous author Alexandre Dumas and the "Man in the Iron Mask" theme. This is the story of the cavalier swordsman Raoul de Bragelonne (Georges Marchal) who rides to free and restore King Louis XIV as the rightful monarch, who has been kidnapped and put in an iron mask by the usurpers. Famed musketeer d'Artagnan (Jacques Dumesnil) and his friends help Raoul in his cause. This movie's cast also includes Dawn Adams. This riveting drama comes as a follow-up to the famous story of the three musketeers by the author Alexandre Dumas. He brings to us, as the name suggests, the last of the courageous swashbucklers who stop at nothing to fight for that which is right.
