The Last Run is a 2004 comedy drama directed by Jonathan Segal. In the film, Steve Goodson (Fred Savage) is a complacent 28 year-old accountant with a beautiful model girlfriend, Chloe (Andrea Bogart). The three-year relationship comes to a sudden halt when Steve finds out Chloe has cheated on him. The break-up is devastating for Steve and he does not feel like he will ever get over her. His despair leads him to seek love advice from his best friend Jack Manning (Steven Pasquale). Jack is a cynical engaged-man, who offers Steve some questionable advice. Jack suggests that the only way Steve will ever get over Chloe is by sleeping with other woman until he feels better. Initially, Steve blows off Jack's advice as nonsense. However, when opportunity knocks, Steve takes Jack's advice in hopes of curing his heartache. While Steve begins to mend his heart, he wonders if it is possible to have too much of a good thing.
