The Last Shot is a star-studded comedy directed by Jeff Nathanson and released in 2004. It revolves around FBI agent, Jack Devine (Ray Liotta), and his plan to bring down mob boss, Tommy Sanz (Tony Shalhoub) for teamster racketeering. Jack sets up his brother, Joe (Alec Baldwin), as the producer of a movie. They hire two guys, Steven Schats (Matthew Broderick) and his brother Marshall (Tim Blake Nelson), to be the directors of the film. This is Steven and Marshall's dream come true, only they don't know the whole thing is fake. They try to steer the direction of the movie in a provocative and alluring direction, but no one really cares about making the movie. There is dissention and hijinx at every turn. Can Jack and Joe take down Tommy Sanz for racketeering? Will Steven and Marshall get to live out the dream of seeing their movie on the big screen?
