The Last Supper is a documentary film directed by Dan Setton. This film documents where Jesus met with his 12 disciples at "The Upper Room" to share a meal. This meal soon became known in history as the Last Supper. The upper room was held in Mount Zion just outside of the Old City Jerusalem. Here Jesus shared a meal that was also the accustomed Jewish Passover Seder meal. During this meal he foretells that one of his disciples will betray and deny knowing him. This prediction had come to light and Jesus was then betrayed. He was then arrested and tried before becoming crucified. This film brings back this exceptional moment in history while capturing the present day scenes of the Holy Land and Middle East. See and re-create the exotic Biblical recipes served with the included cookbook. Recipes shown in this cookbook include the many herbs, breads, wine, fruits and other glorious dishes served at the last supper.
