Chilean Patagonia is an adventurer's playground, a land of jagged mountains, crisp white glaciers, fast flowing rivers, thick forests and picturesque fjords. Its limitless boundaries are home to abundant wildlife including majestic whales, pumas and condors, as well as thousands of guanacos, penguins and albatrosses. Every February, the Wenger Patagonian Expedition Race welcomes a field of international athletes to take on the race of a lifetime as they push themselves beyond their limits for up to 10,000km of non-stop trekking, rope work, sea kayaking, orienteering and mountain-biking. The mission of the race is to conserve the magnificent and fragile ecosystem of Chilean Patagonia for future generations. This movie offers a glimpse into the secrets of Chilean Tierra del Fuego and the awe-inspiring Darwin Range at the end of the world.
