The Legend of Zorro is the 2005 sequel to The Mask of Zorro (1998). It stars Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones. It is directed by Martin Campbell. In the film, the state of California is voting on joining the United States. A wild gunman appears and tries to steal the voting box. Zorro (Antonio) appears and saves the box, returning it to the Governor. In the process, his mask is removed and his identity revealed to the gunman. Back home, being Zorro and raising his family causes problems for the man behind the mask. He cares deeply about his wife and young son. While dealing with his problems, a strange explosion peaks Zorro's interest. He investigates and uncovers a plot by the Knights of Aragon against the United States before it gains too much power. Zorro discovers that they are smuggling some new weapon to give to the Confederate army. A train is hauling the item, which Zorro must stop so he can save California.moreless
