The Living Desert is the first feature film in Disney's True-Life Adventure series, an award-winning documentary tracks a day in the life of the desert creatures of the American Southwest. Stunning footage captures various animals -- including roadrunners, rattlesnakes and kangaroo rats -- competing for food and survival. In addition to the Best Documentary Oscar, The Living Desert also won a Golden Globe and a Cannes Film Festival International Prize.
