The Lone Star Trail is a classic musical western about a wrongly convicted man who seeks revenge on those responsible for his framing. Two years in jail was plenty of time for innocent rancher Blaze Barker (Johnny Mack Brown) to have revenge firmly planted in his mind. Btu being out on parole, the gunslinger isn't allowed to carry his trusty six-shooter, so he pairs up with Marshal Fargo Steele (Tex Ritter) to right the wrongs that put him behind bars. Barker and Steele set out to take down a criminal gang, led by ruthless outlaw Ben Slocum (Robert Mitchum), and a with a bit of assistance from Mayor Cyrus Jenkins (Earle Hodgins). But when he and Steele uncover another plot to frame him, Barker realizes he may have quite a battle on his hands after all. Ray Taylor directs this lovable song and dance westerner featuring a saloon shoot out for the ages.
