The Lords of Flatbush is a 1974 romantic comedy movie by directors Martin Davidson and Stephen Verona, starring Perry King, Henry Winkler, and Sylvester Stallone. Set in the 1950s in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, the movie is about a leather jacketed street gang. Known as the Lords of Flatbush, these four teenage boys chase girls, steal cars, play pool and hang out at a local malt shop. Like all teenage boys, however, they have their fair share of girl problems. Chico Tyrell (Perry King) tries to win over the uninterested Jane Bradshaw (Susan Blakely) and Stanley Rosiello (Sylvester Stallone) has the opposite problem—after impregnating his girlfriend, Frannie Malincanico (Maria Smith), she wants him to marry her. Thankfully they have each other, a band of friends as thick as thieves, to help them through the worries of being a teenager. Check out The Lords of Flatbush for a coming of age story that can withstand the tests of time.moreless
