The Lost Boys: Special Edition is the longer director's cut of the cult classic film, The Lost Boys. The vampire flick follows the adventures of two brothers, Michael Emerson (Jason Patric) and Sam Emerson (Corey Haim), who have recently moved to California to live with their grandfather and mother. Michael meets the alluring Star (Jami Gertz) and becomes obsessed with the lady. Entranced by her charms and winsome ways, she convinces Michael to meet David (Kiefer Sutherland), who is charismatic and boisterous, and takes Micheal out for the night of his life. After a strange night of motorcycle races, craggy mountain cliffs, and the sharing of goblets filled with blood, Michael discovers he has transformed into a creature of the night: a vampire. It is up to Sam and his new friends the Frog Brothers to rescue his brother from his fate and try to defeat the gang that has turned him into a monster that cannot even see his own reflection.moreless
