The Lost is a dramatic crime horror directed by Chris Sivertson. The film is an adaptation from a Jack Ketchum novel and based on a true story. Ray Pye (Mark Senter) is a small-town sociopath who spends his time having sex and doing drugs. One weekend he and his friends, Jennifer (Shay Astar), and Tim (Alex Frost), go camping. During the trip, Ray murders two female campers. His friends help him cover up the crime and even though the police are certain he committed the crime, they have never been able to prove it. Four years go by and the women's murder is still unsolved. Detective Charlie Schilling (Michael Bowen) and his partner, Ed Anderson (Ed Lauter), the original cops on the crime, reopen the case when Ray and Ed's lives collide at the motel Ray manages. Will they be able to catch the killer this time, or will Ray retaliate before they have the chance?
