The Low Life is a heartwarming film about the difficulties of finding a job after college. The film follows John (Rory Cochrane) who is a recent graduate of Yale University, as he tries to find a job and a career in the real world. He has to end up taking a temp job that is low paying and has him doing very little everyday. Unsatisfied with his job, he keeps looking everyday for something else that he could do for a living but has no luck. He moves in with his friend Andrew (Sean Astin) and together they share their frustrations on a daily basis about the job market. Andrew is working a temp job as well, and he also hates his job. This movie is a heartfelt movie about the realities of the job market today, and sheds some light on the difficult market and the difficulties that students face finding a job.
