The Magic of the Golden Bear: Goldy III is the third installment of this youth-oriented drama of a girl who raises an orphaned bear cub in the old west. Little Jessie Rivers (Bonnie Morgan) worries that her guardian's impending marriage will mean an end to her friendship with the large, cuddly bruin that she considers part of their family. Bumbling magician Borgia (Cheech Marin) plays on her fears with the goal to gain ownership of the bear. During a crucial shooting tournament, Borgia causes the girl's uncle, Ned Rivers (Jeff Prettyman), to miss his target and lose the funds that they need to hold onto their homestead. Borgia then offers a large sum to buy the bear and save the day, but a suspicious Jessie and Goldy flee to the forest instead. The pair are saved from poachers by a mysterious woodsman named Freedom (Mr. T), who helps to decide Goldy's final fate. The film also features Danny Woodburn, John Quinn, Bren McKinley, and George 'Buck' Flower.moreless
