The Making of Treme is a behind the scenes documentary of the HBO series Treme, developed and created by The Wire’s David Simon. Treme is a down and soulful look at New Orleans as the residents try to set their lives back onto steady ground three months after the devastation of hurricane Katrina. A unique hotbed of Cajun, French, and Creole cultures, New Orleans is known for its music, artistic style, and Southern grown hospitality, which unfortunately is a bit hard to do when a major natural disaster wiped out a good portion of the city. The Making of Treme looks at how the actors, producers, and crew members work together to recreate that special spice that makes New Orleans one of the most unique cities in the world and what makes the people the soul of the city. The series stars Wendell Pierce, Khandi Alexander, John Goodman, Kim Dickens, Rob Brown, Clarke Peters, Steve Zahn, Lucia Micarelli, and Michiel Huisman.moreless
