The Mezzos is a comedy short film originally released in 2003 and re-released on LOGO in 2010. Directed by Joe Dietl and Michael Irpino, this movie was written by Michael Irpino and stars Brian Catalano as Tony Mezzo and Joey Diaz as Joey Mezzo. Brian is best known for his work in "Master of Disguise," "General Hospital" and "L.A. Noire." Joey is best known for his acting in the "Longest Yard," "Spider-Man 2" and "Taxi." This film looks at the day in the life of a couple of West Hollywood Mafia hit men as they attempt to collect a debt for their boss. These are not your typical Mafia guys. They are gay and struggling to look tough while having hurt feelings and struggling with their identities. This comedy shows what happens when a gay hit man gets a broken nail or messes up his suit. Meanwhile, of course, everything is not going according to plan.
