The Mugger is a 1958 black and white film chronicling the terror of an unidentified city caused by an unknown mugger. The mugger on the loose steals women's purses and leaves a signature knife wound on their faces. After 11 victims escape with only the knife wound to the face, the alleged 12th victim ends up dead. Out of ideas, the police turn to psychiatrist and former cop, Pete Graham (Kent Smith) for help identifying this unknown assailant. Graham follows countless leads and encounters numerous unexpected turns on his mission to identify the mugger and protect those closest to him. As the plot thickens and Graham inches closer to identifying the mugger, the case begins to hit him frighteningly close to home thereby turning up the heat on the search for the unidentified man. The Mugger, directed by William Berke, is a rollercoaster ride of a suspenseful thriller with twists and turns at every corner.
