The Murder of Princess Diana is a 2007 biographical drama directed by John Strickland and based on the novel, Princess Diana's Death: The Latest Verdict, by Noel Botham. The film chronicles the reported events leading up to the fatal crash in a Paris tunnel on August 31, 1997. This crash caused the tragic deaths of Princess Diana (Nathalie Cochrane), her longtime companion, Dodi Al-Fayed (Stephane Loumi), and their chauffeur, Henri Paul (Denis Bracini). The movie also covers the hours immediately after the crash through the eyes of an eyewitness, Rachel Visco (Jennifer Morrison), an American journalist living in Paris. Visco believes there is more to the trios death than a simple car accident and desperately wants others to hear her account of that fateful day. The movie is based solely on the Noel Botham novel and not actual true events. What proof does Visco offer to support her claim and how can she prove it?
