The Path of the Wind revolves around the life of Lee Ferguson (Joe Cowley) and his desire to put his past behind him. Lee was convicted of beating a man to death and served 10 years in prison for his crime. Upon his release, he returns to his hometown where he inherits his grandfather's wealth, but chooses to work at the local supermarket to give his life some structure and routine. Trying to lead a clean life and find some redemption, Lee's past keeps finding ways to affect his life. One day, a woman, Katie (Liz DuChez) is being assaulted and Lee saves her from the attack. They quickly form a connection and start seeing each other. Katie is an evangelical Christian and Lee has ill-conceived notions of what Christians are like. Lee must decide whether he can overcome his past ideas and learn a new way of thinking. The Path of the Wind is a Christian-based movie that presents the outline for the Christian faith and explores the idea of redemption, love, temptation and forgiveness.moreless
