Rafael (Guillermo Toledo) is a womanizing store clerk who never sleeps without the company of one of his comely female co-workers. He engages in heavy competition with a co-worker named Don Antonio (Luis Varela) when a managerial position becomes available in the department. To Rafael's dismay, Antonio more than trumps his efforts and is chosen as the appropriate candidate for the position. Not long after Antonio is in power, he fires Rafael. A fight ensues, in which Rafael accidentally kills Antonio. A forthcoming employee named Lourdes (Monica Cervera) witnesses the event and offers to help Rafael dispose of the body - but not without a commitment to spend the rest of his life with her.
