The Philadelphia Experiment 2 is a 1993 science-fiction thriller that takes place in 1943 and tells the story of a sailor who is transported to the 1980s as part of a radar technology experiment. The sailor, David Herdeg (Brad Johnson), marries and has a family while stuck in the future, but soon begins to have blinding headaches after his wife unfortunately passes away. Concerned, he goes back to the scientist who was involved in transporting him to the future and learns the man as been toying with his invention. While trying to fix the problem, a snafu with the invention mistakenly transports him one more time, but this time he finds himself placed in the mid-1990s. David is now in a world that has changed dramatically and with the United States under heavy military control. Dismayed by the sorry state he is in, the sailor yearns to return back to the 1980s where he can be with his son. The Philadelphia Experiment 2 was directed by Stephen Cornwell.moreless
