Movie Summary

The Presidio is a 1988 movie that features Jay Austin (Mark Harmon) as a man who was kicked out of the military by his brash commanding officer, Lieutenant Colonel Caldwell (Sean Connery). When a murder takes place on the grounds of the military base known as the Presidio, a high-speed chase ensues through the streets of San Francisco. Jay, who is presently employed as a San Francisco police detective, has to investigate the murder. This investigation brings him back to the closed community to question Colonel Caldwell about the details of the crime. Jan and Colonel Caldwell must work with each other to uncover the mystery of the murder. Jay also becomes romantically involved with Caldwell's daughter, Donna (Meg Ryan). Austin soon uncovers an evil conspiracy that has connections reaching back to the Vietnam war. Will he unveil too many dark secrets? Watch the military thriller, The Presidio to find out.
