The Reduced Shakespeare Company is a parody of William Shakespeare's most loved works. The cast of three hilarious Canadian actors try to perform all of Shakespeare's known works in less than ninety minutes and make us all laugh in the process. This 2008, critically loved satire was directed by Paul Kafno and features actors Adam Long, Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor who all play themselves as well as various Shakespeare characters. If you love and adore the works of the famous Bard you're in for a treat. If you have no knowledge of the Englishman's work that is fine as well; this movie is still a rib-tickling good time. Using their training as both classical actors and clown school graduates, Long, Martin and Tichenor speed through 37 plays including Macbeth and Hamlet (forward and backward). Lights, hand motions and silent portrayals of the British characters leave the audience wanting more in this well-done satire.
