The Resurrected, also known as Shatterbrain, is the cult 1992 horror adaptation of the popular novella by legendary author H.P. Lovecraft (Reanimator), directed by celebrated genre writer-director Dan O'Bannon (Return of the Living Dead, Alien, Lifeforce, Invaders from Mars, Blue Thunder). Private Detective John March (John Terry, Full Metal Jacket, Zodiac) takes on the case of a lifetime, when attractive client Claire Ward (Jane Sibbett, Herman's Head) saunters in to his office, charging him to find out what is going on with her eccentric scientist husband Charles (Chris Sarandon, Fright Night, Child's Play, The Princess Bride, Bordello of Blood), who has been in seclusion for some time, conducting bizarre experiments in a secluded cabin near their property. March feels a special sympathy for Claire and takes the case ' uncovering more and more bizarre facets as he probes deeper and deeper into the mysterious goings on.
