Ride is a comedy film that follows the adventures of inner city youths on a bus trip. Leta Evans (Melissa De Sousa) has just graduated from film school when she lands a job to become the assistant to music video director Bleau Kelly (Downtown Julie Brown). However, her new job is in jeopardy when Bleau informs Leta that budget cuts may interfere with her next video. Leta tells Bleau that she is willing to work for a smaller wage, which gives Bleau the idea to have Leta escort her on a bus ride to the video shoot in Miami. On the bus ride, Leta is surrounded by a group of young people who are rough around the edges, including rappers, singers and wanna-be stars. What happens on this bus trip are a series of comedic events, including a bar room fight and debates with each other. Ride features cameos from famous rappers including Redman, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre.
