The Road to El Dorado is a children's animated movie produced by DreamWorks. Tulio (Kevin Kline) and Miguel (Kenneth Branagh) are two Spanish swindlers who cheat in a gambling game and win a map to El Dorado, a legendary city across the ocean made entirely from gold. They then stow away in a ship headed to the New World and captained by Hernando Cort''s (Jim Cummings), the famous Spanish conquistador. After Cort''s catches them aboard his ship, they escape and row to shore. Remarkably, they find that they have actually landed in El Dorado, and it is indeed made from gold! The Mayans who live there think that they are gods and give them a warm welcome. As Tulio and Miguel become closer to the Mayan people, the men must choose between leaving with their treasure or staying to protect their new friends from the advancing Spanish invaders.
