The Secret Identity of Jack the Ripper' is a 1999 documentary from Snag Films that tries to get down to the bottom of the mystery of who truly was the infamous Whitechapel killer. On the 100th anniversary of the dreadful serial killings that haunted all of London a new team of forensic scientists and investigators are trying to finally solve the true identity of who Jack the Ripper is. Jack the ripper preyed on female prostitutes, ripping their throats and then viciously mutilating and destroying their bodies, often cutting out multiple organs, leaving the abdomen a gaping open hole. At the time no suspects were convicted and all these years later the crime spree remains a giant mystery. This mystery has fueled the public imagination for a century, producing books and movies and multiple theories. However none of these theories or writings has led to a definitive answer, till perhaps now...
