The Sender is a science fiction film directed by Richard Pepin that follows Air Force captain Dallas Grayson (Michael Madsen) as he finds himself in pursuit of his young sick daughter Lisa (Erica Everage) when the military discovers there is something uniquely other about her. It seems that decades before while Dallas's fighter pilot had disappeared, believed to have been shot down overseas, was taken by a group of aliens, discovering that his female descendants have the ability to navigate and travel across space. The military, led by Colonel Rosewater (R. Lee Ermey), and a mysterious group known as the Company set to study Lisa along with a recently discovered alien spacecraft. Elsewhere, Dallas is hunted down by former coworkers with no one to trust beside his old friend Ron Fairfax (Robert Vaughn) and an alien known as Angel (Shelli Lether). Can Dallas and his friends save his daughter before the military discovers what makes Lisa so special?
