The Shape of Things to Come, directed by George McCowan, is a Canadian science fiction film that takes place in the future. Mankind has taken refuge from Earth after it was left a wasteland by the Robot Wars in domed cities on the moon. These refugees need a rare radiation sickness countering drug only found on the planet Delta Three. But Delta Three has been taken over by power-hungry Omus (Jack Palance) who demands to be ruler of the human race or he will destroy the moon cities with the aid of his robot controlled space ships. In a bid to stop him and save humanity, Dr. John Caball (Barry Morse), his son Jason (Nicholas Campbell), Kim (Eddie Benton), a senator's daughter and a robot named Sparks (Mark Parr), seize control of an experimental spacecraft and set off from the moon city of New Washington on an unauthorized mission to Delta Three.
