The Sleeping Car is a 1990 horror comedy movie directed by Douglas Curtis. The film follows Jason McCree (played by David Naughton, known most for An American Werewolf in London), a man who just got divorced and is down on his luck. He decides to give himself a fresh start on life by studying journalism and renting a converted sleeping train car. However this new apartment turns out to be haunted by the landlady's dead husband who was responsible for a large train crash ten years earlier. Now the ghost, called 'the Mister,' won't leave Jason alone. After nonstop supernatural intrusions into his life Jason gets desperate and turns to a local exorcist named Vincent Tuttle (played by the legendary character actor Kevin McCarthy) for help in getting rid of the ghost. The film should appeal to fans of cheesy 80s and early 90 horror films. Jason spends the whole film wise cracking, even when battling the evil ghost...
