The Socratic Method tells about the funny adventures of three first-year law students as they push their way through passing grades, love, and life outside law school. The movie presents various situations facing law students as they struggle with the pressures of getting a legal degree in America. Terry King (Josh Renfree) is a college graduate who wants to pursue a career in law. Due to financial reasons, he is forced to share a room with fellow student Susan Walsh (Erica Shaffer), a very organized and beautiful young woman who has long dreamed of becoming a lawyer since she was eight years old. They also share the room with Charles Johnson (Jou Jou Papailler), a street smart guy who prefers learning more practical things found in the real world than what is taught inside the classroom. The film shares a glimpse of various scenarios that law students often encounter in a law school. It is an inspiring yet funny story of how three students struggle to succeed in pursuing their own careers as they deal with the pressures of one of the most difficult educational grounds in America.
