The Stoned Age is an 1994 teenage comedy set in one alcohol-fueled night in the 1970s. Joe (Michael Kopelow) and Hubbs (Bradford Tatum) are two teenagers cruising Los Angeles looking to pick up some "chicks." Hubbs is a smooth, out-going guy while Joe is the quieter, more sensitive soul who is always striking out with women. They meet Tack (Clifton Collins Jr.) who needs a ride to a party at Frankie Avalon's old house. Joe and Hubbs decide to blow off Tack and ride out to the party without him. When they arrive they find two girls, Jill (China Kantner) and Lanie (Renee Allman). Jill is a party girl, up for a good time, and Lanie is shy and reserved, who just wants these two losers to leave them alone. Underneath it all, however, she wants to have fun like the rest. Complicating matters, they all need to figure out how to get alcohol to kick this party up a notch. The Stoned Age is cult teenage film, written and directed by James Melkonian.moreless
