The Survivors is an American Comedy, starring Walter Matthau and Robin Williams, about two unlucky men who get into some trouble with the Mafia. Donald Quinelle (Robin Williams) is a recently unemployed man and Sonny Paulso (Walter Matthau) is a gas station owner. At least, until Donald accidentally blows up his gas station. When the two meet up at a restaurant, it is robbed by a man in a ski mask (Jerry Reed). Sonny catches a glimpse of the robber, who happens to be a member of the Mafia, but when the robber visits Sonny’s house to permanently silence him, Donald saves Sonny’s life. With the Mafia after them and their lives at stake, they decide to enroll in a military survival camp. Donald loves it, but Sonny is not such a fan of the fighting and guns. Will the comedic pair manage to outwit the Mafia and outlast their time together? The Survivors is a funny look at what happens when two average guys are in the wrong place at the wrong time.moreless
