The Taming of the West is a classic Western film starring Wild Bill Elliott. When Bill Saunders (Elliott) successfully kills the man responsible for the murder of the Marshal of Prairie Port, he is appointed the new Marshal. Shortly thereafter, two outlaws kill a woman as she makes her way into town, which results in Saunders serving arrest warrants for the men who have caused the death. The trial is slated to commence in due time, but instead the witnesses begin to drop out of their planned appearances, as they have been threatened and beaten by the outlaws. As Saunders's friend Pepper Jenkins (Iris Meredith) begins to investigate the outlaws' actions, Bill is caught up in a wild goose hunt for the ringleader of the outlaw gang. He begins to suspect Carp Blaisdale (Kenneth MacDonald), the town's banker, as the potential boss of the small group, and goes about setting a trap to capture him. Will Bill Saunders succeed in allowing justice to prevail in Prairie Port?moreless
