The Teacher is a 1974 thriller about a seductive teacher and her favorite student, played by former child star Jay North of "Dennis The Menace" fame. Beautiful small-town teacher Diane Marshall (Angel Tompkins) enjoys the longing gaze of her male pupils, but little does she know that Vietnam vet Ralph Gordon (Anthony James) spends his days and nights watching her. One day, he finds his younger brother, Lou (Rudy Herrera Jr.) and his friend, Sean Roberts (Jay North), enjoying the view of Diane sunbathing. A terrible accident results in Lou's death, which Ralph blames on Sean. Later, Diane seduces the shy Sean after graduation and they begin a torrid affair. Ralph, who recently left a mental hospital, begins to terrorize the couple. When Sheriff Murphy (Barry **** cannot solve the case, it is up to the couple to track down their stalker. Writer/director Hikmet Avedis mixes suspenseful drama with young love in this thriller.
