The Three Stooges Meet Hercules, directed by Edward Bernds, finds Moe (Moe Howard), Larry (Larry Fine) and Curly-Joe (Joe DeRita) working at Dimsal's Drug Store. Their buddy, Schuyler (Quinn Redeker), owns the shop next door, and coincidentally invented a time machine. He takes the Three Stooges, along with his love interest, Diane (Vicki Trickett), back in time to ancient Greece, where the evil King Odius (George N. Neise) rules. King Odius, with the help of his enforcer Hercules (Samson Burke), enslaves the Stooges and Schuyler as galley slaves and takes Diane prisoner. Galley-slave life befits Schuyler, as all the rowing bulks him up, giving him an impressive physique. After the four men escape from slavery, the Stooges falsely promote Schuyler as Hercules in the gladiator arena while tricking Schuyler into believing he is, in fact, as powerful as the real Hercules. Everything is going well until the real Hercules finds out about the Stooges' trickery.
