The Three Stooges: The Outlaws Is Coming is a 1965 comedy directed by Norman Maurer (Stooge Moe Howard's son-in-law). Larry (Larry Fine), Moe (Moe Howard), and Curly Joe (Joe Derita) are workers for an editor named Kenneth Cabot (Adam West) at a wildlife conservation magazine. They journey out to the wild west wilderness to prevent the killing of a herd of buffalo. Arriving at a stereotypical western town, they find themselves meeting up with some of cowboy lore's most famous faces, including Wild Bill Hickock (Paul Shannon), Johnny Ringo (Hal Fryer), Wyatt Earp (Bill Camfield), Billy the Kid (Johnny Ginger), Jesse James (Wayne Mack), Bat Masterson (Ed McDonnell), and Annie Oakley (Nancy Kovack). Luckily for them, Annie Oakley falls for the handsome editor, and lends them her sharpshooting skills to help deal with the legendary outlaws. A satire of the many westerns that filled 1960s television, The Three Stooges: The Outlaws Is Coming is not to be missed.
